Refund and Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to direct Unseen Merit LLC purchases. Marketplace purchases are governed by the applicable marketplace rules where those rules control. “Service clock” has the meaning stated in the applicable Terms and engagement record.

1. Cancellation Before the Service Clock Starts

If you cancel before the service clock starts (i.e., before payment authorization, scope confirmation, and receipt of required source materials), Unseen Merit LLC will provide a full refund of the amount paid, subject to applicable payment processor mechanics.

2. Cancellation After the Service Clock Starts but Before Initial Delivery

If you cancel after the service clock starts but before initial delivery, Unseen Merit LLC will provide a partial refund based on the documented work already completed and the unperformed portion of the purchased scope. The engagement record will support the work-completed determination. The refund will reflect the unperformed portion of the service.

3. After Initial Delivery

A change of mind after the purchased customized work has been substantially delivered does not automatically create a full refund. You remain entitled to the included revision process and correction of service-created factual or formatting errors. Material nonconformity, service failure, applicable law, or processor rules may require a different remedy.

4. If Unseen Merit Cannot Complete the Engagement

If Unseen Merit LLC cannot complete the engagement for reasons attributable to the service, Unseen Merit LLC will refund the unperformed portion. If no usable purchased deliverable has been provided and the failure is attributable to Unseen Merit LLC, a full refund will be provided.

5. Client Delay, Abandonment, or Prohibited Requests

Client delay pauses the service clock. If a client later cancels, the refund analysis follows documented work completed. If the client provides prohibited material, requests fabrication or material misrepresentation, or otherwise creates a condition that prevents lawful performance, Unseen Merit LLC may pause or terminate the affected work. Refund consequences will reflect unearned work and the Terms rather than punitive automatic forfeiture.

6. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

We encourage you to contact Unseen Merit LLC first so the issue can be reviewed and corrected. These Terms do not waive your lawful card-network dispute rights and do not impose a chargeback penalty. If a dispute is filed, Unseen Merit LLC may provide the payment processor with the minimum accurate engagement records needed to respond, including order/scope, communications, delivery evidence, revision/cancellation records, and refund history, subject to privacy controls.

7. Marketplace Orders

Where a marketplace controls cancellation, refund, dispute, communication, or chargeback treatment, the platform’s then-current rules govern. Direct-channel terms do not override mandatory marketplace protections.

8. Processing and Contact
